We scout and accelerate agri-food tech solutions for sustainable, efficient, and resilient agrifood systems, and to ignite entrepreneurial fervor and scientific innovativeness among talents with ambition to tackle complex agricultural challenges. As an ecosystem enabler, the CGIAR Accelerate for Impact Platform (A4IP) leverages CGIAR’s scientific expertise, foot-on-the-ground, and legacy in research and innovation to co-design, accelerate, and de-risk the development and deployment of science-driven agri-tech and climate-tech solutions for sustainable agriculture and climate action.

We offer tailored business-oriented training, product validation and technical assistance, personalized mentorship, market access, piloting opportunities, and funding to elevate your venture and drive positive change on a global scale.
Specific courses include business modelling, market research, digital marketing, investment readiness, financial planning and budgeting, cost control measures, UI/UX, pitching, competitive analysis, product-market fit, team capacity building, buyer and supplier selection andnegotiation, IP management and legal advice.
