The call for applications will close on 23 July at 23:59 CET. Applications submitted after the deadline will be automatically declined.
- Your solution addresses a real market need in Uzbekistan and falls under at least one of the priority areas.
- You are a committed and purpose-driven entrepreneur or researcher (e.g., PhD and postdoctoral students, engineers, technicians, practitioners etc.).
- Your solution has a clear link to CGIAR’s Impact Areas and/or research activities.
- You have a Minimum-Viable-Product (MVP) or Proof-of-Concept (POC).
- You are the sole inventor of the solution.
- Incomplete application forms that do not comply with the terms and conditions specified in the call, or are submitted after the deadline, will not be considered.

Applications are open to all maturity stages. Only early-stage innovations with a Minimum-Viable-Product (MVP) or Proof-of-Concept (POC) will be considered for the bootcamp and acceleration program. Shortlisted innovations at the growth stage and beyond will be invited to the closing demo day to pitch to industry experts and investors.
Yes, if your innovation is/was designed, implemented or relevant to the context of Uzbekistan. There will be a provision for a minimum of 2 slots reserved for CGIAR-led innovations.
You can only submit one application. Please indicate all relevant priority areas in the form.
No, the call is open to global candidates.
No, solutions do not necessarily need to originate from the agriculture and food industries. We are looking for all types of technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) that can be applied to the agri-tech sector in Uzbekistan.
We will follow up with your application the week after the submission deadline.
Yes, the bootcamp is an in-person event in Tashkent, scheduled for August 2023.
