Relive the highlights of the AgriTech4Tunisia Bootcamp, held in Tunis from 13 -16 April, where bold ideas met expertise, collaboration, and opportunity. From over 250 applications to 24 promising teams, the bootcamp brought together innovators, industry experts, researchers, and partners to tackle real agricultural challenges, pitch groundbreaking solutions, and build valuable connections for the future of agritech innovation. Highlights: A Memorandum of Understanding signed for pilot testing with a local agribusiness - Strong peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange across countries - National media and radio exposure that put solutions in the spotlight. Now 12 finalists have advanced to the fully funded accelerator, combining on scientific and technical validation with CGIAR and technical partners, business development and market access, and investment readiness, networking, and pilot testing.
The AgriTech4Tunisia Innovation Challenge Pitch Day brought together 23 innovation teams showcasing forward-looking agritech ventures. Each presented a tech-driven solution rooted in the real needs of Tunisia’s agriculture and market – from enhancing irrigation through sensor-based systems, to connecting farmers directly to markets, reducing post-harvest losses, or turning agricultural waste into useful products.
On January 22, 2026, an online info session introduced the AgriTech4Tunisia Innovation Challenge, a fully funded program supporting early-stage innovators with practical, scalable MVPs ready for market validation, pilot testing, and deployment. This session was an opportunity to meet the project partners and better understand the project's scope.
